A mechanical engineer/MBA, Hiyam has worked in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in the electronics manufacturing industry for both Fortune 500 and small businesses. Hiyam has a proven success track record in product management and strategic planning having delivered outstanding results on global and local levels. She has previously served on national professional association boards and is currently an advisory board member at the local Harrisburg Area Community College, School of Engineering.

When not spending time with her husband and teenage sons, Hiyam enjoys reading, painting, crocheting and hiking.
